Hanoi – Halong Bay – Ninh Binh 4 days 3 nights

DAY 1: ARRIVAL IN HANOI (N/A)

Upon arrival to Hanoi airport, after clearing custom, you will be warmly welcomed local tour expert, transferred to the hotel for check in, approximately a 40-minute drive from the airport.
The afternoon is at leisure to recover from the long trip.

DAY 2: HANOI – HOA LU – TAM COC – BICH DONG PAGODA (B/L)

07.30 – 08.00 Get picked up by our tour guide and bus then depart for Ninh Binh province (100 km South of Hanoi). Have a break 20 minutes half way to relax and experience Vietnamese handicraft products such as lacquer wares, paintings, embroideries…

10.30 Arrive at Hoa Lu, which is once depicted the ancient capital of Vietnam, settled up in the 10th century.

11.00 Visit temples of two dynasties of Dinh and Le with a very unique architectures in the old time.

11.30 Visit the excavation area beside the Le Dai Hanh temple. You experience the vestiges of Royal Palaces ground dated back 10th century. Go back to the bus and drive to Tam Coc.

CYCLING RIDE (optional): Those who love to explore real countryside images of Vietnam can proceed a 40 minute cycling ride along country lane (from Tam Coc to Bich Dong Pagoda, estimated time 40 minutes for 5km cycling 2 ways), experiencing the beautiful scenery of lush paddy fields. Finish the cycling ride at Tam Coc dock in time for a buffet lunch in restaurant.

14.00 Board the sampan boats (2 people share a boat) in Tam Coc dock to drift down the river among the villages, mountains and lush rice fields. Passing through 3 caves “Hang Ca – First cave, Hang Hai -Second cave, Hang Ba – Third cave” to get a strange feeling. Boat returns to the dock for bus drive back to Hanoi.

18.00 Arrive at your hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 3: HANOI – HALONG BAY (B/L/D)

07.30 – 08.30: Our tour guide and bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter.

08.30: Departure to Halong Bay for 3.5 hours.

10.00: Arrive in Hai Duong province, and have 20 minute short break.

12.00: Arrive to Tuan Chau harbor, Welcome to Cruise and enjoy welcome drink. Get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

12.30: Enjoy Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

14.30: Take rowing boat through the village or kayaking to visiting around the floating fishing village.

16.00: Visiting Pearl Farm Village and Swimming in the bay.

17.30: Come back to Cruise and relax.

18.00: Join cooking class guided directly by Chef of Cruise. You have chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll or famous cuisine of Vietnam.

19.30: Time for dinner enjoying special food on the cruise.

21.00: Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke, squid fishing, and overnight in Halong Bay.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY – HANOI (B/L)

06.30: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck.

07.00: Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast.

08.00: Arrive Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave.

10.00: Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

11.00: Enjoy the lunch on cruise.

12.00: Cruise are landing Halong Bay harbour, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.

12.30: Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

14.30: Stop over in Hai Duong province to visit a ceramics workshop.

16.00 – 16.30: Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to Airport for next destination.
